In the Wild:

Sujan Creative’s site wanted their site redesigned to reflect a natural evolution of the studio’s work. As their focus shifted toward photography and videography, the challenge for the website needed to showcase a wide range of visually rich projects in a way that felt refined, intentional, and inviting to explore.

Observation:

Sujan Creative’s portfolio is rich in motion, color, and media variety.

The primary design challenge was organizing a wide range of visual work in a way that felt intentional rather than crowded, while preserving the energy and personality of the brand.

Adaptations

Design adaptations focused on:

using film-strip-inspired graphic elements as a visual motif to reference photography and videography
incorporating motion through hover and rollover interactions to bring energy to the layout
using bold color selectively to create visual interest without clutter
establishing repeatable layout patterns to ensure a large volume of work feels cohesive, not crowded

Ecosystem Evolution

This project represents a complete redesign of Sujan Creative’s original site, also built by Bolhuis Design.

The metamorphosis reflects a deliberate shift toward a more mature, editorial presentation — retaining the brand’s vibrancy while introducing greater structure and restraint.

As Sujan Creative’s focus has increasingly centered on photography and videography, the site has adapted to foreground motion-based work and high-impact visuals while maintaining a consistent system for organizing and presenting a growing portfolio.
